Pen Air Federal Credit Union believes in giving back to the community that has shown us support for over 70 years. We try to accommodate as many non-profit organization events as our annual budget will allow. Pen Air FCU does have some restrictions on the types of events that it can sponsor due to regulations, conflicts of interest, and our not-for-profit status. We do not receive any tax credit for contributions and thus must be able to show that sponsorships and participation will give the Credit Union some visual and tangible advertising in exchange that is of comparable value.
If you belong to a non-profit organization or a school that has a special event coming up and are in need of sponsors, please mail a written explanation or flyer of the event with all your contact information at least one month prior to the event to: Attn: Marketing Department, Pen Air FCU, 1495 East Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32514. A Pen Air FCU Representative will contact you with any questions and status of request.
Although we may not be able to help sponsor every event our great community has to offer, Pen Air FCU does want to acknowledge as many worthwile organizations and events as possible. So, if your organization has an upcoming community event you would like for us to post in this Blog, please submit the information to penair@penair.org with the subject box as "Community" and all appropriate contact information; and we'll do our best to help spread the word. Space will be limited on a first come, first served basis - provided there are no conflicts of interest with the Credit Union.
Each month, we will update this Blog site with current community news and events that the Credit Union participates in. Many times, we encourage our member-owners to join us especially in team events such as walks that raise awareness. This Blog will keep you updated on those events and other Credit Union special news as it becomes available. If you have the opportunity to attend any of the events or learn of new ones that you'd like to see your Credit Union become involved with, please let us know.
