PenAir Supplies Donation to the Santa Rosa Education Foundation

Pensacola, Fla. (September 6, 2022) – PenAir Federal Credit Union is pleased to present the Santa Rosa Education Foundation with a check worth $5,737.34, courtesy of the Share It® program.

“PenAir’s Share-It program is just another example of how we are making an impact in our local schools,” says Casey Brueske, Community Education Development Specialist for PenAir Federal Credit Union. “These students and educators need our help now more than ever. We are excited to partner with Santa Rosa Education Foundation to enhance the lives of the students in Santa Rosa County,” says Brueske.

Share It® cards donate .01¢ for every signature-based debit card transaction made to the local school district of choice. Once enrolled, members select the school district of their choosing between Escambia County, Florida, Santa Rosa County, Florida and Baldwin County, Alabama and the program does the rest.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with PenAir,” says Danielle Clark, Executive Director of Santa Rosa Education Foundation. “These funds are being utilized to support our recognition and retention programs: Teacher Grants and Teacher of the Year. Both programs help highlight and recognize all of what the teachers in our district are doing. Our Teacher Grant program are available for innovative projects in four categories: STEM Education, Literacy, Career & Technical Education and Artistic Literacy. While the Teacher of the Year program allows SREF to recognize and reward high-impact educators across the district,” says Clark.
