1Verification of Identity – If your information is located and subject to disclosure under the CCPA, we will provide you the information after taking steps to verify your identity as required under the CCPA and to protect you and the Credit Union from fraud and identify theft. Accountholders may be verified through account information or contacted through Online Banking, if applicable. Otherwise, we may request to see your Driver’s License or other government issued identification as well as another document bearing your name and address such as a utility bill, phone bill, vehicle registration or bank statement (only the name and address portion, no account numbers or other personal information). This information will only be used for verification purposes. If you do not provide this information, we will attempt to identify you by asking questions about the information we have found. If we cannot verify to a reasonable degree of certainty that you are the consumer to whom our information relates, the CCPA specifies that we deny the request for information.
