PenAir Welcomes Derrick Aguilar, Chief Experience Officer

Pensacola, Fla. (July 28, 2022) – PenAir Federal Credit Union (PenAir) is pleased to announce the recent addition of Derrick Aguilar, Senior Vice Presentient, Chief Experience Officer.

Aguilar joins PenAir with over 20 years of experience. During his tenure at Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU), he built an impressive resume ranging in responsibilities from cultivating the member experience, retail banking, and overseeing the Virtual Branch. Aguilar played a key role in supporting SSFCU’s expansion efforts through mergers and acquisition projects by contributing to the operational integration of several acquired credit unions within new markets. Aguilar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business as well as a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
