Santa Rosa Education Foundation Receives Funds from PenAir’s Share It® Program

Pensacola, FLA. (August 18, 2021) – On Monday, August 9, PenAir Federal Credit Union (PenAir) presented $5,201.21 to the Santa Rosa Education Foundation. Funds were collected through the Share It® debit card program over the course of 12 months.

“We are so fortunate to have three exceptional school districts in our area,” says Casey Brueske, Community Education Development Specialist for PenAir Federal Credit Union. “Thanks to programs like Share It®, giving back to your community has never been easier,” says Brueske.

Share It® debit cards allow members to designate funds to the eligible school district of their choice – Escambia County, Florida, Santa Rosa County, Florida and Baldwin County, Alabama. For every signature-based debit card transaction made with a Share It card, PenAir will donate .01¢ at no cost to the card holder.

“The funds received from PenAir’s Share It® program will be matched dollar for dollar with our state matching funds to double the impact in our local schools,” says Cathy Purdon, Executive Director for the Santa Rosa Education Foundation. “All Share It funds will be used to directly impact the teachers and students in Santa Rosa classrooms by funding projects designed to increase student achievement,” says Purdon.
